Bio/Curriculum Vitae

Danish saxophonist Thomas Edinger (born 1976) has a vast musical experience and background.
At age 13 he picked up the saxophone (after playing the drums and classical piano) and was soon awarded with Bikubens Talentpris (Talent Prize by Danish bank Bikuben).
After graduating from The Rhythmic Music Conservatory (2003) with a diploma in saxophone/teaching, he went on to teaching there, while maintaining a career as a freelance musician/composer in high demand.
He has composed the song ”Meaning of Life” that went into the final of the national Danish Song Contest (Dansk Melodi Grand Prix) 2007 and co-founded open-jazz ensemble STRØM (www.stromjazz.dk) together with trumpeter Maj Berit Guassora and released the album "I dare you" (2007).

He played with many Danish and international artist in numerous constellations, and in he 2010 became a part of Thomas Helmigs band, touring arenas in all of Denmark. In 2012 he joined Lukas Graham for extensive arena touring in Denmark and Europe as well as tours with Rasmus Seebach, Medina, Johnny Logan, Christopher and many others. Thomas is an acclaimed studio musician and recording credits include:

Bb/A and Bass Clarinets,
