Thomas Edinger
Bio/Curriculum Vitae
Danish saxophonist Thomas Edinger (born 1976) has a vast musical experience and background.
At age 13 he picked up the saxophone (after playing the drums and classical piano) and was soon awarded with Bikubens Talentpris (Talent Prize by Danish bank Bikuben).
After graduating from The Rhythmic Music Conservatory (2003) with a diploma in saxophone/teaching, he went on to teaching there, while maintaining a career as a freelance musician/composer in high demand.
He has composed the song ”Meaning of Life” that went into the final of the national Danish Song Contest (Dansk Melodi Grand Prix) 2007 and co-founded open-jazz ensemble STRØM (www.stromjazz.dk) together with trumpeter Maj Berit Guassora and released the album "I dare you" (2007).

Alto, Tenor, Baritone and Soprano Saxophones,
Flute, Alto Flute and Piccolo flute, irish whistles,
Bb/A and Bass Clarinets,
Guitars, Keyboards, Percussion and Vocals.
